Loved the Harlem Gospel Tour!

The Harlem Gospel Tour was incredible! I had such an amazing time, the music and atmosphere were just fantastic. Our guide was so energetic and shared so much cool info about Harlem's history. I'm already planning my next trip to NYC and will for sure book another tour with them. You guys have to try it!

Decent value with discount

I was looking for a good deal and found a 15% off coupon for the Central Park Tour. It made the price much more appealing. The tour itself was fine, our guide was friendly enough, and we saw quite a bit. Without the discount, I might have felt it was a bit pricey, but with the savings, it felt like a fair purchase. I always try to find an offer before booking these things, and this one worked out.

Anyone know about their cancellation policy? My plans are a bit up in the air for next month, don't want to lose money if I have to reschedule.

J James Green 1 day ago
Yeah, they're generally cool about it. I think as long as you give them some notice, you're usually good. Doesn't hurt to double check the specific tour you're looking at though, some might vary.

I had to cancel a Wall Street tour once, and it was pretty straightforward. Got a full refund because I did it far enough in advance. Just read the fine print when you book.

Are Tours of NYC legit? Or one of those shady ones that just disappear with your money?

D Donna Mitchell 2 weeks ago
Totally legit. Used them for a Harlem gospel tour and it was awesome. Guides were super knowledgeable.

Yeah, they're a real company. Been around for a while. Not some fly-by-night operation if that's what you're worried about.

Thinking of booking a food tour for my family over spring break. Does anyone know if they do like, family package deals or anything? Trying to save a few bucks with 4 people.

D David Thomas 3 weeks ago
Yeah, they usually have something like that. I saw a 'family package deal' mentioned when I booked a Central Park tour last year, so good chance it applies to food tours too.

They def do group discounts, so a family package sounds right. I'd check their site or just add everyone to the cart and see if it pops up at checkout.

Has anyone done their night tours versus something like Big Bus Tours? Thinking about which one to go with for a skyline view.

E Ella D. 6 days ago
Big Bus is more of a generic ride around, good if you just want to see stuff from a distance. Tours of NYC's night tours, especially the cruises, feel a bit more curated and you get closer to the landmarks, plus more info from a guide.

Yeah, I'd say if you want actual 'tour' experience with a guide telling you stuff, go with Tours of NYC. Big Bus is more of a hop-on-hop-off thing, less in-depth.

how long do the walking tours usually run? i'm trying to fit in a museum visit after the lower east side one and wanna make sure i have enough time.

E Elizabeth D. 4 days ago
Most of the walking ones I've done are around 2-3 hours. The description for each tour usually says how long it is.

For the LES food tour, it was about 3 hours when I went. You probably won't be able to rush a museum right after, you'll be full! lol.
